Defeat

happiness inside is killing me,
love lost for the wicked ones.
these hands have lost controle,
beaten down the angels of hope.
no songs left to write,
i close my eyes and drift away.
to places far away, from galaxy to galaxy.
the emptyness of space is where i dwell,
my feet fermly on the ground.

i've broken hearts, defeated lovers.
killed the definition of rebirth,
the words mean nothing to me,
i try to comprehend, but fail as is walk away.
scratching my way through the fabric that guards my soul,
i long to destroy the memories that i hold so close.
nothing save, nothing sacred, just me, i hold the key.
