We used to be just friends, and now that we are lovers, there is something I want you to know.
By the help of a special friend, I found a love that will never end.
I found a dream that came true when I first laid my eyes on you.

I used to think I was unlucky
That the world didn?t care, but then suddenly, you were there for me.
You took me into your arms and I thought I could fly.
I wasn?t scared at all, because I knew that when I?d fall,
You are there to catch me and hold me tight.

Now you must know that after all this time I still love you so.
And when you feel kind of sad,
when the world treats you bad.
When you need me so,
I will stand right outside you door with my arms open wide.
In my heart there is a place for you where you can always hide, and feel safe.
